GENERAL PROHIBITIONS:
1.1 You may not post or uploadl any file that is restricted or prohibited by a federal, state or local law in any country or jurisdiction. Please be aware that the www.FileMentor.com Site functions as a global content provider, thus the posting of files may be prohibited because of laws outside of the jurisdiction where you reside. Below, we have listed some categories of prohibited or restricted files. However, this list is not exhaustive; you are responsible for ensuring that you are not posting an file that is prohibited by law in any jurisdiction.
1.2 FileMentor.com has chosen to also prohibit the posting of other
categories of files which may not be restricted or prohibited by law but are
nonetheless controversial including:
(a) files that encourage illegal activities;
(b) files that are racially, religiously or ethnically derogatory, or that
promote hatred, violence, racial or religious intolerance;
(c) Pornographic materials or files that are sexual in nature;
(f) files that offer a product or service for sale, such as
advertisements solely for the purpose of collecting user information.
1.3 FileMentor.com, in its sole and exclusive discretion, reserves the right to impose additional restrictions and prohibitions.
2. CONTRACTS
2.1 You are responsible for ensuring that your transaction is lawful and not in violation of any contractual obligation. Before posting an file on the Site, you should carefully read any contracts that you have entered into that might limit your right to sell your file on the Site. In other cases, such as when you are uploadeing a third party's file, you are responsible for damages to that third party.
2.2 FileMentor.com does not search for files that may raise these types of issues, nor can it review copies of private contracts, or adjudicate or take sides in private contract disputes. However, we want you to be aware that posting files in violation of your contractual obligations could put you at risk with third parties. FileMentor.com therefore urges that you not list any file until you have reviewed any relevant contracts or agreements, and are confident you can legally sell it on the Site.
2.3 If you have any questions regarding your rights under a contract or agreement, we strongly recommend that you contact the company with whom you entered into the contract and/or consult with an attorney.
2.4 All such files voilating our terms and laws will be immediately removed from the site without any prior notice.
3. FILE MIME TYPE
3.1 You should upload the MIME type that is small in size but efficent in result so that it will consume the minimal bandwidth of FileMentor.com in provide smooth flow of content to all of our valuable users.
3.2 If you upload a file that is not supported or considered heavy at FileMentor.com, then we will convert it to any of the format that is compatible with FileMentor.com but maintain the content of file same. There may be quality reduction or format change in that process, but FileMentor.com is not responsible for that.
3.3 In case of a project or software contains multiple files, then upload the zipped file in any format to us, FileMentor.com will itself unzip the project or software to make it executable on the site as you desire. If you have special instructions for that then please upload a file named INSTRUCTION in same zip file to us.
3.4 All of the unsupported files, exe files, or or files for only download purpose are only available to download, there is option to run those files on the site. All filles which may considered harmful for server or site will not available for direct run on the site.
4. PROHIBITED & ILLEGAL FILES
Following files, in any case, are not allowed on FileMentor.com
- Harmful or malicious software or virus
- Hacking or Cracking of software or hardware
- pornographic, sex, adult related images or movies
- Hacking or cracking software or guidance
- Govenment, armed forces, or police related issues
- Mailing list or personal information
- Discrimination related to religion, sex, case, etc,.
- Files to collecting personal or business information
- Spy related files for country sensitive matters
- Organizational secrets and leaks
